The objectives of the Chesapeake Multicultural Resource Center are to be the trusted source of information and referral for the non-English speaking community, to be a central source of information to service providers about the growing immigrant community, expand the capacity of churches and other community organizations interested in engaging or serving the new arrivals in the community, and develop and disseminate information about the current and potential impact of new immigrants on the community.
