The Littleton Immigrant Resources Center (LIRC) at Bemis Library is an award-winning program that helps immigrants connect to community services, learn English, and apply for immigration benefits such as U.S. citizenship. The program has been recognized by the Harvard’s “Bright Idea” program as well as the National League of Cities for helping immigrants participate in their communities.

Immigration Legal Services:

LIRC has Department of Justice (D.O.J.) accredited staff members who are certified to practice immigration law before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

We help clients apply for Naturalization (US Citizenship), Certificate of Citizenship, TPS, and Removal of Conditions. We also help renewing Green Cards, Employment Authorization Documents and DACA.

English Classes
We provide group in-person ESL classes for adults at beginner and intermediate levels.  Each class is taught two days per week in the morning.

Language Partners Program
The Language Partner program matches immigrants who wish to improve their English language skills or need to study for the US citizenship exam with trained volunteers for one-on-one language tutoring. The tutoring schedules are flexible in order to accommodate the busy schedules of students and volunteers. We provide a fun and respectful environment to improve students’ confidence and English communication skills.
