Esperanza Immigration Legal Services
The mission of Esperanza Immigration Legal Services (EILS) is to provide community education, advocacy and direct legal services to immigrants and their families so that they may participate in and benefit fully from American society. EILS first began as a program of Esperanza, a comprehensive community development corporation based in North Philadelphia in 2009. Located in the heart of a low-income Latino neighborhood, EILS offers convenient and culturally accessible services to the Latino community. EILS serves all immigrants in the Greater Philadelphia area regardless of national origin, but has a unique history of working with the Hispanic community.
