Church World Service (CWS) welcomes refugees and immigrants to the Triangle. We provide employment, case management, and other social services to newly-arrived refugees. We also have a DOJ recognized immigration legal services program that assists refugees, asylees, and other low-income immigrants.

Areas of immigration legal assistance: Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Employment authorization, Family-based petitions, Naturalization/Citizenship
Types of immigration legal services provided: Help completing forms, Filings with USCIS
Non-legal services: Citizenship / Civics classes, Employment services, ESL, Office Of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)-funded services for trafficking victims, Referrals to other services, Social services
Populations served: Human Trafficking Survivors, Individuals with physical/mental disabilities, Lesbian, gay, bisexual & transgender, Torture survivors

Other information: Interpreters are available for refugee social service programs; however, immigration legal services are only provided in English, Spanish, and French. Clients speaking other languages must bring their own interpreters.
