Justice For Our Neighbors (Baltimore Monthly Legal Clinic)
Justice For Our Neighbors (JFON) provides free legal services to low-income immigrants. DC-Maryland JFON is part of the larger Justice for Our Neighbors network, which has 16 locations throughout the United States, each of which holds a series of legal clinics at different locations throughout their regions.
The main office of DC-MD Justice for Our Neighbors is in Hyattsville, Maryland. The Baltimore clinic location holds Immigration Legal Clinics once per month for potential new clients to seek advice and counsel and find out if they have a case that can be taken. If the immigration attorney determines the client has a case at the clinic consultation, an appointment will be set up in the main office to begin working on the case. Potential clients must make an appointment to come to the clinics; the clinics are not drop-in. Potential clients must first come to a clinic in order to meet with the attorney.
