California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc. provides a variety of legal services and education to low-income communities of California. CRLA immigration services are limited to U and T Visas in cases related to our other work. 

 

CRLA provides representation and advice in matters of:

Employment (employment discrimination, harassment, wage claims, retaliation)

Housing (eviction notices, rent increases, habitability, retaliation, discrimination and harassment)

Education (discipline -- expulsion and suspensions, language access, access to services)  and Public benefits (CalFresh, General Assistance, Social Security overpayments and terminations, TANF, Welfare-to-Work)

Counties served: Monterey

Areas of immigration legal assistance: T visas, U visas, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) petitions
Types of immigration legal services provided: Help completing forms, Filings with USCIS
